Allergy to kiwi

The kiwi test is a blood allergy test. The test for kiwi allergy means actindia allergen.


The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when an allergy to kiwi is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used also for qualification for desensitization of kiwi allergy.

It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children under the age of 4 years.
