Attention! The consultation date should be 5-7 days before the planned procedure. |
Preparation for the visit
- Before the consultation, complete all the tests ordered by the referring doctor. When you come to the anesthesiologist, have a complete set of test results with you, as well as any other relevant medical documentation (e.g., specialist clinic treatment documentation, information cards from previous hospital treatment). Also, prepare a list of currently taken medications and dietary supplements along with their dosages.
- In case of chronic health problems, e.g., cardiological, before the consultation with an anesthesiologist, consult a specialist doctor, e.g., a cardiologist, for an opinion in paper form (health status information, anesthesia and surgery clearance certificate).
- Before the visit to the anesthesiologist, print and fill out the anesthesia consent form. The consent form is available in the Documents section; you can also request it from the facility.

A cardiologist deals with the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmias, heart defects and hypertension.

General urinalysis is one of the basic preventive tests that should be performed regularly. It evaluates physical and biochemical characteristics and checks for abnormal substances.

The test includes determination of the number of morphotic elements (erythrocytes, leukocytes, platelets), measurement of the size and assessment of the characteristics of their structure (MCV, MCH, MCHC), as well as the number and percentage of the individual types of white blood cells.
