Czynnik reumatoidalny RF – ilościowo

An RF test performed from the blood to assess the presence of the factor rheumatoid factor. The test is used in the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.

Rheumatoid factors are autoantibodies against a immunoglobulin fragment. The test is mainly performed to confirm rheumatoid arthritis.

Rheumatoid factors also appear in:

• the course of other connective tissue diseases (e.g., Sjögren's syndrome, lupus, Sharpe syndrome),
• infectious diseases (mononucleosis, bacterial endocarditis endocarditis, chronic hepatitis),
• parasitic diseases (leishmaniasis),
• proliferative diseases of the lymphatic system (lymphomas, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Waldenström disease),
• and mixed cryoglobulinemia type II.

• The test result is available within 3 working days.
• Possibility to collect the result at the reception of any Center Medicover Medical Centre.
• Ability to access the result via the Internet (download required password at the reception desk of the Medicover Medical Centre).
