Monika Dzięciołowska, MD, PhD
Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin.
Between 2008 and 2013, she specialised in ophthalmology at the 1st Department of Ophthalmology of the Pomeranian Medical University. In 2013, she passed the European specialist examination in ophthalmology (FEBO) in Paris,
and then in 2014, she passed the specialist examination in Poland. In 2015, she defended her doctoral thesis on ‘The use of optical coherence tomography in imaging retinal structures in eyes with myopia’.
Since 2014, her work has been primarily related to ophthalmic microsurgery (cataract surgery, eyelid and conjunctival tumours, subconjunctival, periocular and intravitreal injections of steroids, antibiotics and anti-VEGF). She performs diagnostic tests (ultrasound, OCT, angiOCT) and laser procedures (ALT, SLT, YAG iridotomy and capsulotomy, MPLT). She treats patients with cataracts, glaucoma, AMD and other retinal diseases.
