Neurochirurg

A neurosurgeon deals with diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system—the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and the vascular system that supplies these structures, such as lumbar and cervical discopathies, carpal tunnel syndrome, herniated nucleus pulposus, hemangiomas, vertebral body pathologies, and chronic pain syndromes. 

During the consultation, the doctor:

• conducts a medical interview and physical examination, 
• makes diagnoses, 
• provides medical recommendations, 
• prescribes medications, 
• issues referrals for diagnostic tests, consultations, hospitalization, 
• issues medical leave certificates.

The consultation lasts 20 minutes.
