A head MRI without contrast is a non-invasive and painless imaging test that allows for a detailed assessment of the brain and head structures. The examination uses a magnetic field and radio waves and does not involve X-ray radiation. This enables the doctor to evaluate, among others, the brain, blood vessels, sinuses, pituitary gland, and cranial nerves, and to detect possible abnormalities.
