Beef allergy test is a blood allergy test A beef allergy test means the allergen of cow meat.


The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when an allergy to beef is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used also for qualification for desensitization of beef allergy.

It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children under the age of 4 years.
