Platelet-rich plasma - large

Platelet-rich plasma treatment can be used year-round. It is safe, minimally invasive and does not alter facial features or facial expressions in any way. However, it must be performed by an experienced specialist. 

What does the procedure consist of? 

1. A small amount of blood is drawn from the elbow vein for the patient who comes in for the procedure. It is not necessary to come to the blood draw on an empty stomach. 

2. Using a special device, plasma with platelets is separated from other blood components. Thus, a preparation called platelet-rich plasma is obtained, which contains a large number of platelets that stimulate regenerative processes in the body. 

3. Platelet-rich plasma is injected into the patient's skin, usually using the classic mesotherapy method or linearly, i.e. along the wrinkles and folds of the skin.

Before the procedure, a qualifying consultation with a Damian Medical Center aesthetic physician is required, during which the specialist will decide whether the procedure can be performed. If the procedure takes place on the same day, the cost of the consultation will be deducted.
