Platelet-rich plasma - small

What does the procedure consist of? 

1. A small amount of blood is drawn from the elbow vein for the patient who comes in for the procedure. It is not necessary to come to the blood draw on an empty stomach. 

2.Using a special device, plasma with platelets is separated from other blood components. Thus, a preparation called platelet-rich plasma is obtained, which contains large amounts of platelets that stimulate regenerative processes in the body. 

3. Platelet-rich plasma is injected into the patient's skin, usually using the classic mesotherapy method or linearly, i.e. along wrinkles and skin folds.
